The time has come… Pont-Du-Vaux 2023, one of the biggest events of the year. Where we had hoped for good weather, the days started with rain / thunderstorms and severe weather was predicted. The result is a muddy track and racing in difficult conditions. This was not allowed to spoil the fun and so Gelmersmotorsport started with two participants in the contest class.
After four hours of racing, which passed almost without problems and a lot of battle was fought, we can look back on a great weekend with a very satisfied feeling. Of the 127 participants, two Gelmersmotorsport quads finished in the top 10, with Jeroen Gelmers (#66) finishing ninth and Ricardo Phoelich (#24) crowning the weekend with a first place. Results that we can only be proud of. This year (unfortunately) no participation in the Mondial 12-hour class, who knows what awaits next year. One thing is certain: Pont-du-Vaux 2024 is already on the agenda!
